Somiedo national park is beautifully rugged land, and holds the most dense population of brown bear in Spain. In winter, the blanket of snow allows for superb snowtracking. The snow is like a time machine, allowing us to get a very intimate look on what animals live in the valleys, how they go about and interreact.
